I was just adding some CSS for the Navigation Strip to my print_stylesheet() function today. Now I noticed that when I attempt to post comments in my style (with ?style=mine or in my journal), the reply form won't come up. I did nothing nothing to ReplyPage today. WTF. My layout has $.form-print(); , there's no funky logic -- everything looks fine, so what is going on? For now, if you want to comment, please append the link with &style=mine.

Is it because it's $.form-print(); instead of $.form->print(); ?

Hm, weird, it's printing the surrounding divs but not the actual form. It makes me think that maybe something is untrusted, since I think the form has to print trusted? I don't know how or why that would happen, though.
Have you tried taking out the control strip CSS that you added, and seeing if it fixes the reply form?

I haven't tried that, but I did after you commented. It didn't work, so I put it back. I don't see how it would affect stuff...
Also, EntryPage is somewhat borked for me as well -- the multiform stuff -- the checkboxes, and the mass action options don't print.

And things were definitely working before you touched your layout today? Is it possible some other change broke it, but you didn't notice until now?

Hmm... you know, I'm not sure about today, but I definitely had no problems yesterday, and I haven't touched my layout in at least 3 months, until today.

Thanks for your help; I'll be looking into this. :)

OMG I feel so dumb. It was a problem in my theme layer. I forgot an ending </style> tag in Page::print_custom_head() , what with moving CSS here and there. So dumb.

I'm glad you figured it out, at least! :)

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but when I go to the reply page in your journal, the form isn't showing up on the page, but it is in the source -- in the middle of CSS. (right after all the <link>ed stylesheets.) NFI why. It almost looks like it's being generated by the print_head function, which makes *no* sense.

Thanks! I already solved this. I had a missing </style> tag in my theme layer...
