I got a CD on Amazon.com, and when I opened it and listened I found that it was damaged... I heard some noise but blamed it on the headphones/computer on the first couple of songs; on the fourth song the noise was too noticeable to disregard. I played the CD in a CD player and still got the same problem. It gets progressively worse too: the sixth and further songs are skipping painfully. So of course I look up the Amazon return/refund policies, and I gather that opened CDs can only be returned for a partial refund. I'm not satisfied with that, and write to Customer Service explaining the situation. And it turns out I can get a full refund! They apologized and explained in detail how to handle the return. Great!
