My company has a contest "Show us your smiles". I think I'd like to take part. It involves posting pictures to Flickr. Like I need yet another photo-hosting site... I've been using VillagePhoto(?), Imagestation, Photobucket, and now ScrapBook. Does anyone know if I can upload pictures to Flickr from a URL (rather than from computer) to transfer pics from all those various sites directly without having to first download them?

Flickr is loooooooooooove. Flickr is everything I wish ScrapBook could be. </fangirl> Unfortunately, I'm not seeing anything on the tools page that suggests they permit uploading from a remote website. Oh my gosh, talk about a blast from the past! Sorry it took me so long to get back to this comment, I haven't been on my livejournal in quite a while (clearly, haha). You're right it's probably been about 5 years since I've talked to you - how are you? I'm very good! If you disregard the fact that my kitty died recently :( In any event, before that my life was just great: I'm almost finished with university (graduating in December - Woohoo!), I've got a full-time summer internship that I'm enjoying greatly (company is good, co-workers are good, work is good), and I guess this is actually a prerequisite to having a job -- I have a car&drivers license! Finally, I can go wherever I want whenever I want (provided I know how to get there and have free time ;) ) Well, it turned out to be a kind of moot point, because the contest is only for those restaurant workers, and not us - office people here. Thanks for looking though! |
